What is Virtual Classroom Training?
Virtual Classroom Training Explained
Solid Solutions Virtual Classroom Training provides a hands-on, live, interactive group training session from a professional, qualified instructor. Virtual courses follow the same structure as our regular classroom training, with a mix of follow along case studies and practice exercises.

Your instructor will be available to discuss the course’s content and answer questions at any point during the course.
Ask Questions
Your instructor will be there to help for the entire course and can access your screen to guide you when stuck.
Get Practical Experience
You'll have plenty of time to improve your practical skills as you work through case studies and exercises just like a normal course.
Certificates and Manuals
You'll receive a manual and certificate for each Virtual Classroom Course you attend. Additionally all our courses are CPD accredited.
No SOLIDWORKS Required
No access to SOLIDWORKS? Not a problem! You can seamlessly connect to one of our high-spec pre-configured training machines.
Remote Desktop Access with PCOIP Technology

You do not require access to SOLIDWORKS to attend our training courses. Instead you can connect to one of our training machines via PCOIP and utilise one of our dedicated CAD stations. PCOIP technology allows for the transmission of data and visuals with unrivalled quality. The user experience is far smoother than a regular remote desktop session, this will feel as if you're using SOLIDWORKS on your own machine.

Our CAD stations are pre-configured with all the required software and training files so you'll only need a computer with internet access. To connect to our machines you'll need to install a small PCOIP client which we will provide before the course.

Feeling Unsure? - Attend a Free Trial Session

We're confident that we can deliver great training online to anyone, you won't even need SOLIDWORKS, just a reliable internet connection. If you're still unsure whether the experience of a virtual classroom course will compare to a traditional course, then we encourage you to sign up to this free half day event and try out the training for yourself.

Throughout the short course, you will experience how you can interact with the instructor, work through modelling a simple design and experience the setup required to complete a virtual, instructor led course.

Training Helpdesk Available

To further support our training attendees, we have added a dedicated Training Expert to our support desk. This engineer will be available to run test setups ahead of your scheduled training to ensure everything is working correctly. This can include testing the PCOIP remote desktop access and getting access to your course manual.

Our Training engineer will also be on-hand to help with any questions you have before the course or any follow up questions after your training. So if you have any questions, please get in touch today using 01926 333777.

Customer Satisfaction

We work hard to ensure that every customer gets the most out of their training course and leaves feeling satisfied, but don't just take our word for it, see what our customers think about our Virtual Classroom Training.

"I was slightly concerned with how a virtual training course would work but I have to say that I was very impressed. Tim my tutor was excellent, he was very clear and ran the course at a good pace but without rushing anyone. He was also very happy to help anyone if they got stuck. I've come away from the Essentials training course with much greater understanding of SOLIDWORKS. Great job Tim!"
