During our SOLIDWORKS 2019 Launch Events in October last year, our customers entered a prize draw to win a DELL 7530 Workstation.
| The prize was kindly donated by our event sponsors, DELL and Intel and
all our customers had to do was visit their stand during one of our 16 launch
events and scan their badge. We are delighted to announce Alex Harris, Product Design and
Innovation CAD Draughtsman from Elta Fans,
is the winner of this competition. Here’s a picture of Alex with his new Dell

| A few words from the winner: ‘Elta Fans Ltd have been a
customer of Solid Solutions since 2003, when we first made the move from 2D to
3D CAD software. Since that time our small design team has expanded and now has
sections on two different sites, utilising SOLIDWORKS to create both standard
and bespoke air movement products, and turning our customers’ visions into
reality in applications from Agriculture to Gas Turbines. The support provided by Solid Solutions is second to none; they
are always available to help with issues, and offer excellent professional
training for software updates or for new team members. The launch events are a
great platform to learn and expand our knowledge of SOLIDWORKS, and I would
