The SOLIDWORKS support package includes full access to a wealth of resources made available from us including telephone/email support, online training videos, hardware advice, Launch Events and access to our interactive support blogs.
Our Support Team
Our Support Team are on hand to help you with enquiries relating to SOLIDWORKS and the extended solutions every working day of the week with the vast majority of enquiries being solved in a single interaction.
Extended Service
There may however be occasions where your requirements exceed what we are able to offer in a Support capacity, but you could still benefit from a short turnaround consultancy service. These additional services may allow you to hit project deadlines, help your team be more productive, or reconfigure your system setup to adapt to procedural changes, with some examples including (but not limited to):
  • Programming services/macros to create customised add-ons to help automate how you work*
  • Reconfiguring Product Data Management (PDM) settings to reflect your internal procedures*

Contact Customer Support
Every day at least 35 of our SOLIDWORKS engineers are on duty to ensure your enquiry gets answered as quickly as possible. We don’t have an automated call routing system, you get straight through to our engineers.
GoToAssist is our online support tool. It enables our support team to securely access your workstation to view and resolve issues. We can access your computer screen and show you exactly how to fix your problem.
File Transfer
Occasionally our customer support team need data sets to further diagnose and solve your issues. This file transfer facility is a convenient and secure way of sending us SOLIDWORKS files. You must Log In first before you can transfer files.
The SOLIDWORKS Web help is an online version of the complete SOLIDWORKS help files including all What's New user manuals. Powerful search capabilities and comprehensive content make this a really helpful resource.
Access to self support facilities 24/7
Access the global SOLIDWORKS Knowledge Base anytime from the SOLIDWORKS Customer Portal. The Knowledge Base (which is also used by our technical team) allows you to troubleshoot issues outside office hours (8am - 5:30pm, Mon to Fri).

Software Updates
