Student Access Initiative Benefits

The SOLIDWORKS Student Access Initiative connects students to SOLIDWORKS software outside the classroom or laboratory anytime from anywhere.

Independent Study

Student Access licenses support distance learning, and articulation agreements with colleges.

These allow students to work remotely, complete assignments, and prepare for certifications. Crucially, some versions do not require connecting to the school server.

Students

Students can work from anywhere, complete assignments during off-hours, and use licenses for independent study or distance learning courses.

They can also articulate with college programs, prepare for certification exams, build personal portfolios, and participate in student competitions.

Instructors

Instructors can assign homework and prepare remotely, using licenses for distance learning or independent study students.

They can also prepare for their own certification exams, practice SOLIDWORKS skills during breaks, ensuring their proficiency remains current.
