You’ll be part of a collaborative team of expert engineers, solving real-world design challenges and helping users get the most out of SOLIDWORKS.

Placement Programme Details
At Solid Solutions, you’ll gain practical experience, build lasting connections, and work on meaningful projects from day one. You’ll be part of a culture that values flexibility, innovation, and inclusivity where your ideas matter and your growth is supported.
Qualification: Currently studying Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, General Engineering, Aerospace or Automotive Engineering, or a related subject, and eligible for a placement year.
What You'll Get
- Salary - £25,000 per year

- Training - Full SOLIDWORKS training and industry-recognised certifications (including CSWA and CSWP), with your own Professional Development Manager
- Career Progression - Potential conditional offer for graduate programme. (85% of our placement students have returned as graduates.)
Placement Type: 12 - 14 Months Available
Location: Opportunities available across our UK and Ireland offices, including, Leamington Spa, Furness Vale, Chepstow, Fareham, Leeds, Sheffield, Durham, Chilton, Belfast, and Dublin.
