SWOOD for SOLIDWORKS: From Design to Manufacture Hands-on Workshop – Glasgow

Join us at the Solid Solutions Scotland office for an in-person SWOOD workshop focused on taking joinery and fit-out projects from concept design through to CNC-ready output, all within a fully integrated SOLIDWORKS environment.

This session is designed specifically for fit-out specialists, interior designers working with manufacture, and joinery companies who want to improve accuracy, reduce rework, and streamline the transition from design to production.

What we’ll be covering in the SWOOD Workshop

During the session, we’ll walk through a complete workflow, starting with SWOOD Design inside SOLIDWORKS, SWOOD CAM and SWOOD Nesting:

• SWOOD Design: See how parametric, rules-based woodworking design in SOLIDWORKS allows you to quickly create and modify cabinets, panels, frames, and assemblies — while maintaining full control over materials, fixings, and construction methods.
• SWOOD CAM: Learn how SWOOD CAM uses the intelligence built into your design models to automatically generate CNC toolpaths, reducing manual programming time and minimising errors on the shop floor.
• SWOOD Nesting: Understand how SWOOD Nesting optimises material usage and prepares production-ready nesting layouts directly from your SOLIDWORKS models, helping to control costs and improve manufacturing efficiency.
