The ExactFlat training course will enable you to learn the full fabric flattening process, create pattern pieces from model faces and edges using ExactFlat.
Course Overview
ExactFlat is software that makes it faster and less complicated to design, develop, prototype, cost and manufacture any products that incorporate composites, industrial fabrics or technical textiles. Integrated with SOLIDWORKS.
During this training course you will cover all aspect of the flattening process using ExactFlat. Create the pattern pieces (individual sections of fabric) to flatten from faces and edges of your model, use the advanced flatting tool to produce actuate pattern pieces. Prepare the developed pieces ready of manufacture creating notches and seam lines. By the end of the course the user will be able to create simple markers for fast costing and sewing instructions and pieces layout using drawings then export the flattened pieces ready to be manufactured.
